Be Honest!

When I was four years old, I used to draw log cabins and said that one day,
I wanted one. Well, now I am 55 years old and I have a log home! Yes, I shopped
around with many dealers which made me more and more confused. We were very impressed with one dealer because we felt she
was honest, up-front and down-to-earth. So, we signed for our kit. The home went up with a contractor with problems. Not due to the contractor
but due to the manufacturer. When I contacted the dealer, all of a sudden she wasn't the same person. No help, not available and so on.
My advice is, check out the dealer closely. Will they assist you with any
problems after the sale has been made? Will they be willing to answer future questions about
your home? After living in my home for a couple of years, I decided to become a dealer myself. Looking back, my experience
with a dealer has made me a better, open-minded dealer more helpful and ready to help my customers. This is before and especially after the
sale. Matter of fact, I have become very good friends with several of my customers mainly because we had so much in common about our dreams
of building our dream log home. If you are a true log lover, you will always
be there to stand by the next log lover!
