A True “Love and Log” Story

My story began 3 1/2 years ago in Madison, Wisconsin. I was a retired LTC in the Army and was working at the Capital. I had purchased some land near Eagle River and was planning my dream, " a log home". I decided to do some research . . . on the internet. WOW there is an overwhelming amount of information on the web. It took me a while but I narrowed it down to a few log home companies, five in the U.S. one in Canada. Don't ask me why I picked the one in Canada, it was located in an unusually named little town. I e-mailed and ordered info from them all.

To make a long story short, I ended up going to Canada to check out the product. To my surprise, it was love at first sight. The log home came later . . . the Sales Manager and I dated for a year. I am happy to say I met the love of my life and we built our log home dream in Canada. We started a dealership and are engaged to be married this summer. It is amazing how a log home brought us together. Now I have everything I ever dreamed of . . .
